Spring Review

Summer is gone, the chill has started to spread. I can see some trees shedding and more over I don't see any flowers around!

Aha! its autumn not spring.

Today I was going through some pic albums and I found some pictures around the corner. It was probably taken some years back when I was in my village. It rejuvenated my spirit, if i may say, after my tiring tests here in college.

Funny beginning, the september....the fall....

Thinking of september I realised that i have been lazy and out of writing for the past ( I don't know how many) months. The last time I wrote was on march and to calculate it it has been 6 months exactly.Wow what have I been doing, what a lazy fellow there...haha yes I guess I have been. And now I write....

Its september and the way I started september was incredible. Incredibly good or bad I don't know, because we the student here had our mid-term and I guess I spoiled my most papers rather than doing it well. 

And despite it, right after the exam we (my two roomies and I) had a tour around Phuntsholing town. We walked in and out of a lot of shop only to realise in the end that we have walked for hours, our legs were hurting and we were still empty handed. That kind of felt stupid and the shopkeepers might have also felt the same to see us walking out of their shop empty handed after spending hours looking around.

However we were glad that we didn't go touring empty stomach, we at least fueled ourselves before that.

 Reminding of the fuel thing, soon after reaching town we went to eat, Wow... the interior looked classy. We looked at eachother and started murmuring."Don't you think we entered the wrong place?, as in it looks expensive". "Yeah I think so too". "Lets just get out".... 

Well all sorts of thoughts and talks came in. However we held back trying to keep our dignity (if I say) and sat down. A man came and he handed out the menu and went back. As we scrolled down the menu, we were looking at eachother again but this time not out of question and doubts but out of excitement. 

" Its reasonable, isn't it?" "Yes it is". and we were very glad. So we ordered what were available and we ate. our stomach was full atlast. 

The bill came in and we were there looking at eachother yet another time. Well it wasn't the sum we had calculated, it exceeded. We were confused so after enquiring we found out that we had to pay separately (as in for rice and the curry).

Come on, the menu didn't say "Rice and curry..... Nu__, it said curry.... Nu__.

Well we felt a little embarrassed of asking him that stupid question and soon we were out. I mean glad that we were finally out of embarrassment.

That stupidity and funny incident did teach us a lesson though and I guess we would be careful next time we go and order something.

Since the september has just started and the starting of fall it is so I feeling content and hoping for excitement with lots of stupidity together with lessons.

Today is My Day....

It was not an easy day yesterday for me and for my friends as well as we had to act normal than usual. I knew they were preparing something and they all had to do it without me knowing. But guess I was a little too smart for them...haha..

As I said Today is my day, yeah today indeed is my day because it's my Birthday today and I am going to be 21 till the next 27th of march comes next year. Well I nearly forgot my age until I found it on the cake that my friends have brought. It had the numbers '2' &'1' and it was lit. I just wished for it to melt quickly or just reveres the numbers so I could be a girl again(I just thought actually...hehe..).

And now talking about the girl thing , I now realize that I have taken a step further and become woman leaving the word girl behind. Now woman would be the word to describe me wherever I go(I guess). Thinking about it I kind of feel proud because I have become independent at least to take responsibility to the small things I am responsible for. And  I am going to be a good person. Hope I cam be be to everyone(and that is  my wish as a birthday girl today).

"Well my friends yesterday took a lot of effort to surprise me when the time clicked 12 am and as expected all of my friend were there and I was glad that they all remembered my day. But what was unexpected was there were few more faces with them. And they were my brother and his friends. It was unexpected and I was a little hesitant but not for long as I know all of them.

After that I had the candles blown,cake cut and they sang the birthday song to me. We all then played few games while eating snacks until it was too late and we all dispersed. 

My dear friends I just have no words to express my thankful gratitude to you all for making my day so awesome and yeah reminding me that I am growing old, haha...., and thank you all for surprise that I knew before hand...:P :) Love you all...."
